ITALIAN STATES, Milan (under Spain), 1 ducatone, Philip II, no date, PCGS XF45. Olivares-Type 6/27; Dav-8307. Large coin struck on a broad flan with full and bold legends, choice full arms on reverse with caryatids flanking base, bust of Philip II on obverse slightly weak due to typical convexity, lustrous and lightly toned, scarce issue, this example appearing as finest and only example in the PCGS census but apparently as misattributed to Dav-8313 (scudo).
